This course is mainly targeting in-service physicians, interns, nurses and paramedics whose level of English mainly medical terms, and expressions is quite rudimentary. Besides medical terms.,the course will focus on pathology, radiology, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, etc. There will be a special focus on public health issues such as raising public health awareness, speaking at medical conferences, and writing medical reports. The course will be delivered, in a co-teaching style by a language expert and a university professor, whose level of English is quite sophisticated. There will be simulations of medical conferences, and medical consolation sessions.
