Legal English is the first course to be offered by any language Center. This course mainly targets in-service lawyers, legal advisors, and students of law whose level of legal English is good but does not qualify them to be legal advisors, or human activists working in human rights organizations. The course will focus on legal terms and court proceedings and the art of contesting verdicts, writing appeals, and creating extenuating circumstances for juvenile delinquency and felons who were involved in criminal acts without previous determination. Part of the course will be devoted to simulation and role-plays in which participants will be trained in bringing law causes and then get involved in court proceedings until a verdict is pronounced by the judge.
